I am a bold and curious Researcher, fully available from 30 November 2026 with some availability between now and then. I have worked full-time as a freelance Researcher for BBC Studios' Documentary Unit on Crimewatch Live and at Rondo Media as a Researcher in Unscripted Documentary TV. I am looking for opportunities in Editorial, Production and Development. I have experience in fact-checking, compliance, archive research, archive clearance, developing ideas, leading research chats, loading cue cards, liasing with contributors, sourcing film locations, question writing and script writing, with shooting experience too.

Outside of this, I take letter drops and do other Locations-y things in HETV and film, most recently marshalling on Guy Ritchie's Young Sherlock S2 for Netflix. I am an approachable and hardworking Location Assistant with a full clean driving licence over 25 for insurance purposes. After gaining my first LA credit on Malpractice (the same team behind Adolescence), I wish to keep working as a Location Assistant. With 10 years experience as a photographer with plans to lend this skill to Location Scouting, I have taken additional Location Management training and I am a BECTU member. 

In the future I want to be either a Producer in Docs, or a Location Scout and Manager. I am highly adaptable having worked shoots on the move and confident communicating in all forms with the public and internally with all departments. I am an adept researcher of locations, equipment hire, I can raise POs, write MOs. I am passionate about regional representation, sustainable practices and this department, having contributed to the campaign lead by Lauren York to get Location Managers BAFTA recognition and taking Albert Sustainable Production Training.

I am a BA (Hons) Visual Communication graduate who studied 6 months abroad in the Netherlands, now with bases in Cardiff, Leeds, London, Bristol, Manchester and around these parts. Basically anywhere. I'm on IMDB too. 

Outside of work, I'm a photographer and active karate practitioner, with a particular interest in drama, comedy and music within theatre, the arts and media. I'm in the spoken word scene, I'm taking night classes in Cymraeg, teaching myself guitar and I recently got back into screenprinting.
