I'm a UK television and commercial director working at the intersection of human storytelling and high-end cinematic production. My BBC documentary Summer With The Johnsons won the Prix Europa for Best Non-Fiction Film and earned a Royal Television Society nomination for Breakthrough Talent. I returned to long-form for 2nd unit direction on the BBC's His Dark Materials (2018) and as director on The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan (2022). In 2026 I completed an MSc (Merit) in Psychology at the University of East London — a qualification Inow bring back to factual production, particularly work involving sensitive subjects, vulnerable contributors and duty of care.Photography has remained central to my practice throughout — from a BA in Fine Art (Sheffield Hallam, with an exchange stint at San Jose State University, California, studying colour photography and screenwriting) to commercial stills work for VW, Turkish Airlines and Anglian, alongside an ongoing fine art practice shooting on film.
