Researcher with production and development experience including casting contributors and working with talent on location. With a Biology degree and masters in Science Communication, I’m comfortable translating academic papers into engaging stories and building rapport with high-profile academics.

I've worked on: stress tests and neuroimaging; ecology and conservation; horticulture; ongoing crime stories; historic figures (with help from biographers).

Before entering television, I led digital comms at a charity where I regularly interviewed vulnerable children for case studies. This taught me to approach contributors with empathy and an open mind, and I’m proud to continue this when talking to contributors today.

I can also safely set up cameras and lighting since I worked in a kit room, and I have proven experience of filming and conducting research in remote UK locations from university. Read Less
