Hia! I’m a very experienced Researcher, working at an AP level in factual entertainment and ready to make the step up, or broaden my skillset into other genres. I’m a very confident self-shooter, and have a passion for travel and location roles.

I’m technically minded and experienced self-shooting/cross-shooting, following movement and being adaptable, as well as planning/shooting GVs and setting up MIVs (FX9/6/7, canon C300/500). I’m proficient in rigging GoPros/action cameras, mic’ing and audio monitoring, and camera assisting (rigging and fixing kit, sliders, lights etc).

One of my biggest strengths is in supporting contributors and talent. I have experience working with vulnerable adults and sensitive subjects, managing accessibility requirements and difficult situations in a calm and respectful way. I take a lot of pride in being a level headed and reliable presence on location.I’m experienced in data wrangling, comfortable backing up rushes across multiple formats, coordinating transfer drives with an ingest team, and keeping a detailed rushes log. I find calm in being organised and methodical so it’s an aspect of roles I’ve always found quite satisfying.

Alongside TV, I produce indie scripted short films, live event and music video filming, with my company Finnie Films. It comes from a passion for bringing personal stories and exciting events to life, and being a part of the indie filmmaking community. It also builds my skillset in producing and camera operating creatively and without boundaries. We’re gearing up to film our first feature length film in 2027!

When not on shoots, I live and travel in my campervan! I have a base in Glasgow to leave the van when away, and a home address in North Ayrshire, but this means I’m more than happy travelling for roles. Needless to say I’m a very confident driver with a full clean license, 8+ years driving experience with vans, talent, and long distances.
