I chose to do my BHA in Film due to film and TV's ability to capture the wonders of life and the many different characters we see daily.
I carry optimism in my passion for cinema, and want to start gaining - and then expanding - my knowledge of the industry before eventually moving into documentaries and factual picture.
Right now, I am looking for my first professional role in the industry as a PA/Runner/Office assistant, but am flexible to all entry roles relevant to my pathway. I am also open to internships.
At Queen Mary University, I have been exploring various aspects of filmmaking and the theory behind it, including the breaking-down of production techniques and filming methods. In addition to my studies, I have developed practical skills in video editing through software such as Davinci and Adobe Premiere Pro, as well as graphic design tools like Illustrator. I am passionate about storytelling through film and believe in its power to inspire and provoke thought and emotion where words can't.
Looking ahead, I aspire to collaborate with experienced filmmakers, refine my craft and contribute meaningfully to the film industry and beyond. Whether through independent projects or commercial ventures, I am eager to make a positive impact and create compelling stories and narratives for people to connect with. With a strong educational foundation and relevant skills, I am ready to embark on a fulfilling career path in filmmaking and script writing and I am eager to connect with like-minded professionals and mentors who share my passion.
My long-term aim is to focus on Jewish stories so as to combine my heritage and religion with my admiration for cinema.
