I've worked as Police Adviser across Series 5 and 6 of ITV's The Bay, providing research and advice from early script development through to filming. Other productions include Coronation Street, Protect and Serve (Big Talk Studios), Manhunt: Search for the Cop Killer and The Confession.

My work involves researching criminal investigations, forensic procedures, police powers, interviewing, custody and operational policing. I've also worked alongside medical advisers to ensure accuracy where police and medical procedures overlap.

Before television, my policing career included senior incident command, tactical firearms command, major investigations, public order and multi-agency emergency response.

I enjoy working with writers, producers and directors to find practical, accurate solutions that support the story rather than get in its way.

I'm particularly interested in opportunities involving scripted drama research, factual television, investigative research and specialist police advice, both during script development and on set.
