Alex was part of my team on the FIFA World Cup 2026, where we crewed and managed the tournament for WING and HBS. We created feature content for FIFA, which was made available to all host broadcasters and their partners. Alex was one of four Senior Producers responsible for overseeing 48 crews on the ground, each made up of a producer and camera operator, embedded with all 48 competing national team across the US, Canada and Mexico. It was the largest World Cup operation to date, involving complex management, communication and logistics. Throughout the tournament Alex was in constant contact with the crews, who were capturing everything from airport arrivals and pre-tournament green-screen shoots with the players, to matchday arrivals, live TVU departures, pitchside content, player interviews between fixtures and live press conferences. He made sure all content was captured to brief and delivered on time to our UK post-production team, and he was the key link between the crews on location and the UK operation. The content his teams delivered was published by FIFA across YouTube and picked up by broadcasters including Fox and ITV, who used it to strengthen their own tournament coverage. Alex was reliable, calm and highly organised throughout. He is a great team player and exactly the kind of Senior Producer you want running a high-pressure, fast-moving operation. I look forward to working with him again and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for any future role.
