Sandesh Chauhan is a London-based filmmaker, cinematographer, and visual director with over six years of international experience spanning documentary cinema, commercial campaigns, and digital journalism. Holding a Bachelor’s in Media Studies with a focus on visual structure and cinematic grammar, Sandesh bridges analytical storytelling with high-end technical execution.

His career includes field-directing and filming documentary initiatives for global entities like the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in remote terrains, producing commercial visual narratives for UK creative houses, and directing large-scale multi-platform media campaigns. Sandesh previously founded The Creative Trail Production, steering multidisciplinary teams of cinematographers, editors, and sound designers on commercial and brand films. Beyond commercial production, he has shared his craft as an instructor with London’s Sparks and the Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF), training the next generation of visual storytellers in safe equipment handling, framing, and narrative development.

Whether directing complex multi-camera setups or self-shooting on Sony Cinema Line and aerial drone rigs, Sandesh focuses on authentic, character-led human stories with rich, cinematic texture. He holds an Enhanced DBS check, comprehensive safeguarding credentials, and is fully authorised to work across the UK.  Read Less
