Read More I am a passionate, smart film maker looking for experience with your YouNeek Production company. From finger painting to cinematography, I have always loved media, art, writing, film and TV. Throughout my life I have explored all these passions in different ways. For example, taking art GCSE and making sculptures for the Waddesdon Manor Christmas shows while doing photography on the side. Or getting published in a writing competition for poems about taxis. But the first time I was able to drive into the world of film was in Media A-level, where we studied ‘blinded by the light’. From here I went on to develop my love for film. My understanding of films has grown through media studies, especially analysing ‘Blinded By The Light’, a low-budget film using Bruce Springsteen’s music and creative shots like lyric montages and monochrome scenes. This taught me how style and music attract audiences. Media studies also gave me insight into film promotion, social media, posters, trailers. Studying English and Drama helped me grasp storytelling, character development, and symbolism. Analysing texts and performances taught me to spot subtext and motivations, skills I now use in writing scripts and crafting emotionally resonant films. As Media Subject Captain, I’ve promoted the subject by building an Instagram platform and launching a film club. I’ve also improved my photography skills through the school team. Additionally, I’ve supported School Film Electives, sharing my passion for film and learning how to create effective phone-based productions. And I am currently studying directing and cinematography at the creative media institute in pinewood. This has given me some advanced knowledge of the film industry, but I am eager to continue my learning and development. I am extremely interested in undertaking work experience with you so I can put my knowledge and passion in action in a real working environment.
