I'm Arron, a self-shooting filmmaker and drone pilot based in Hebden Bridge, between Leeds and Manchester.

I run GlidingPixel, making short documentary-style films about how things are made and the people who make them, for craft businesses and community organisations. I work as a one-person crew with my own kit: Sony A7 V, DJI RS 5 gimbal, DJI Mic 2, lighting, and a DJI Air 3S for aerials (CAA Operator and Flyer IDs, insured with Coverdrone). I edit and grade in DaVinci Resolve Studio.

I'm available for crew days as a drone operator, second camera, camera operator or editor across Yorkshire and the North West, and further afield for the right production. Before film I spent ten years as a senior software engineer at Auto Trader and Ocado Technology, so I'm used to briefs, deadlines and clean, well-named deliverables.
