Shooting Producer/DV Director with a passion for working on character led, narrative driven observationaldocumentaries. My favourite projects are those where I’m on the ground, at the coalface of a story. I love being part of a team, bringing positivity and a can-do attitude regardless of the challenge; be it, the pouring Alaskan rain, back to back nights on buses across Central Asia or jumping out of a helicopter to test camera angles. My background as a former elite athlete has shaped how I work: I perform under pressure and maintainhigh standards over long shoots. I’ve recently completed a Screenskills funded course in “Stepping up to Edit Producing in HETV” and a 4Skills Accelerate placement.

Over the last eight years, I’ve worked on a wide variety of productions, from prime time fact-ent formats to science and adventure documentaries, children’s programming and blue-chip wildlife series narrated by Obama and David Attenborough. I enjoy turning my hand to something new, learning new skills and making engaging telly whatever the genre.

In Development I have worked on many successful pitches including one of my own original ideas being commissioned by the BBC.
